A pupil of Lucette Descaves at the Conservatoire de Paris, laureate of the Marguerite Long in Paris and Tchaikovski in Moscow, Bruno Rigutto meets at the age of 17 Samson François, of which he will be the disciple for ten years, before starting a formidable international career of soloist and chamber musician.

Author of an important discography, conductor and composer, he is at the origin of several music films (he has signed the music of the film Nina Companeez "Faustine and the beautiful summer" and drama. he will teach at the National Conservatory of Music in Paris, where he succeeds Aldo Ciccolini.

He has contributed to the training of many soloists who are now leading a career. The public and the critics praise the passion, the vitality, the expressive richness, the virtuosity, the poetic subtlety, the inner strength and the powerful lyricism of an artist who belongs to the generation of the great masters of the piano.
